They say as you grow older time flies and how true that is. I can’t believe we are almost at the end of another year. And what a year it has been. My thanks to all my readers who have enjoyed reading The Runaway Orphans and The Lost Orphan. As you will see in the reviews they have been well received, both having hit the top slot on Amazon for a little while. You can buy The Lost Orphan in The Works, Waterstones or on Amazon. All my other books are on Amazon.
The book due to be published in 2024 begins in Muntham Court where Milly and Pearl live with their mother. On the eve of war, Pearl has married a German but it’s only when their father dies that it opens a can of worms which will alter their lives forever. Muntham Court, which was a beautiful house, was pulled down in the 1960’s to make way for Worthing Crematorium. As yet the book has no decided title.
My publisher asked me to make a short video to promote The Lost Orphan so my lovely daughter took me to Victoria Park so that we could film it. As you will see, things don’t always go to plan. I sent the publisher a proper video but I thought you might enjoy a laugh as you watch the out-take.
